This is a SCAM phone number. It rang my land line in Bowral NSW on Thursday 18/04/2024 at 3.57pm. It disconnected as soon as I answered.
I am aware that these numbers then try to get you to ring them back. I rang it anyway, just to find out who it was so I could report it.
A female Asian accented voice answered to say that no agents are available, and they might ring back. The message said...

Medicare scammer, saying my Medicare has been blocked and giving a doctored medicare link to follow

Someone in Pioneer Credit called me using this number (08) 6214 4386

They have been calling me for years, always a different mobile number. Just keep blocking them.

Robo-call pretending to be representing MasterCard and Visa querying an overseas charge on a debit card.

Scam text message telling me that my "Toll bill is past due. Protect my credit by paying off your overdue tolls immediately. https://linqtkou.life/au - Click on the link".
NEVER CLICK ON ANY LINKS ON YOUR PHONE.
I don't live anywhere, where there are tolls. Over the past month I have received at least 3 of these message per week. Different phone numbers.

It appears this website was created just yesterday, 2024-04-17, with a Singapore provider for the sole purpose of scamming.

Answered and was told they were calling about my car accident. Since I have been involved in two within last 5 years, I asked for details as to who they were and which car accident they were calling about. The reply then made it clear it was a scammer who just got a little bit lucky that they (a) called someone for whom the intial query was slightly relevant and (b) was too tired to pick it up...
