They said that my ING acct is suspended. And it tells me to click on a web link to regain access. I clicked it anyway, since I have AV and VPN. It gave me a weird knockoff website, that didn’t work. It could be a virus, so don’t click it if you don’t have a antivirus or VPN.

I didn’t pick up the phone. Called them back about 4 hours later and they automatically hanged up the call without answering it. It was before 9pm so no one answered, no answering machine, no company message, nothing, just hang up and that’s it. I tried one more time before 9pm, the call hangs up automatically again.

This 100% a SCAM and stated there has been unusual activity your Medicare has been temporarily suspended and gives you a Https address - that is bogus DONT CLICK ON THE ADDRESS. Medicare has told me straight away that was a scam call.

This is a SCAM phone number. It rang my land line in Bowral NSW on Thursday 18/04/2024 at 3.57pm. It disconnected as soon as I answered.
I am aware that these numbers then try to get you to ring them back. I rang it anyway, just to find out who it was so I could report it.
A female Asian accented voice answered to say that no agents are available, and they might ring back. The message said...

SCAM - Claiming to be Medicare. Apparently my account has been suspended due to unusual activity.

This mob will call offering FREE Hearing Tests saying they are Amplifon exactly like they did last year. This is a SCAM. If you receive a call just about every day
ask them what is the name of your Audiologist, or which branch you attend for your hearing test, or when was my last test...THEN HANG UP.

Like all number I have received starting with 0485 ... ... this is a nuisance call. most probably a scamming of some sort.

Called and did not identify themselves. Left a voice mail with three hellos and hung up. Blocked.

Aust Bill Cutters offering me a better deal on electricity (with Sumo). Genuine call and rates were good.

I've been getting lots of calls from Perth, Australia from similar numbers but none leaving messages. I haven't picked up as I presume these are spam.

They always call me right around the time they draw the prize so you answer the call thinking you've won!🤔

Constantly calls, does not leave messages, when calling back they don’t tell you why they are calling until you provide personal identification first, typical of a scam call centre. Horrible spammers

Female caller saying they are from Telstra and advising that my phone is acting strangely and they will be cutting off my account. I have Blocked the number

Phone keeps blocking variations of this number but they will not stop calling every 5 minutes.

Asked if I would allow an authority to leave a package for future deliveries. Ive never received anything from or used Fed Ex before so I declined to talk.

I once called back one of these numbers and the guy was Chinese Australian and laughed at me when I told him there are no Chinese at this number. The number had in fact previously belonged to a Chinese person. Contact with a scammer is disgustingly stomach churning when you realise he/she is the cruel embodiment of evil.

Missed call from 0480 098 657. Phone contacts assigned it as "Suspected Spam".

Same deal, called our MSP mainline, asked for our manager by name, regarding a mutual client of ours, interesting he even knew this info, so be aware.

Scam robocall re Commonwealth bank account breach

Claimed to be from NBN and that I had a slow connection in my street. I asked for the street name and he named it correctly. I said I don't mind a slow speed as I don't do gaming or anything else requiring speed. I thanked him for his call

Scam. Automated msg claiming to be ANZ Bank with request for key prompts to confirm a transaction on my card. (I don’t bank with ANZ)

This sh*t has gone on long enough. Applied for credit card from Coles. five minutes l got a call from overseas call centre to verify all I had put in the application. Could not understand person and quality of call was hopeless. Transferred six times and they were just as bad, had to hang up. About time these useless bloody companies woke up, and if they want to use these frigging call centres...

This number is just a lady calling people back after getting there enquiry's about solar power and the government incentive. people need to actually enquire through an add,website or facebook to be called!

Another unrecognized caller. If they are not numbers I know, I just let them ring until they disconnect. Appreciate your website as an added protection for scams or nuisance callers.

I answered after 1 ring. Caller hung up instantly!

Sent me a text message with a link to update my address as they couldn't deliver a package due to incorrect address details I called the number but received an answering service. I reported this as spam.

Paypal - my account went into negative which is fixed up but the calls are unrelenting over a few days. As I didn’t know the number I didn't answer. They are very persistent.
