SMS informs me that my TELSTRA points are about to expire and to keep them current I must click onto a link. (link supplied)

Of course I did NOT click onto that link.

This was a call from New Zealand. I don't know anyone in New Zealand and did not answer. They did not leave a message. I suspect it was a scam call.

Scammers use auto-dialling equipment. If you answer quickly, they talk to you. The other phone calls are dropped. This means they move on quickly and can ignore unanswered and non-connected phone lines.

The number showed up as Bankstown or similar on my phone. It's a recorded message claiming to be from AGL, saying you owe money - which I don't. Just block the number. Not too sure who has called me but from reading above now I know. Even when you block their number they will call you from another number. I am getting calls daily from blocked numbers which still manage to come through.

Chinese voice recording saying in English that I have an urgent documentation from immigration. I’m Australian born & haven’t any dealings with immigration so I’m not selecting numbers to press to continue the call. There was an option to select to hear the message in Chinese. I’m not connected to any Chinese. Took it as a scam call. Caller id shows (03) 4061 6781 From Swan Hill Victoria.

Indian accent, asked about a “unauthorized” VISA transfer - I asked what bank - they stated a bank I did not have accounts with - I said that’s not possible - HE AUDIBLY SIGHED IN WHAT SOUNDED LIKE FRUSTRATION - I then heard him mumble something in what I assume was another language - he hangs up

I Missed the call, but google automatically classed it as spam, but when I went to call it, it said this number has been disconnected, please check the number and try again, but it was the exact number that try to call me, def SPAM!!!!

Called stating they wanted to review my private health. I told them my number was on the do not call register. They said that the register expires every 12 months so thats why they called me. The register DOES NOT expire every 12 months. He wouldnt listen and kept trying to do his spiel. I hung up on him and submitted a formal complaint and the number and business

Delayed connection (predictive dialler operating). When connected I was told that it was a call from Telstra re my internet connection: I'm not with Telstra, but Optus - so it is a scam. When I said so, she hung up on me.

Caller identified himself as calling from Visa and Mastercard Fraud Protection. Caller had an Indian accent and was difficult to undestand

Claiming to be Telstra saying internet IP is now in the public domain. A lot of nonsense spoken which made no ICT sense (I work in digital services). Telstra is not our internet provider. I kept them going in circles for 11 minutes and they hung up on me. Not my personal best but I am happy with my efforts
