I heard the familiar pop at the start of the call that is synonymous with a dodgy VoIP application. The voice on the other end had a thick accent and there was lots of background noise, typical of scam call centres. They asked for me by full name. I advised them they had the wrong number and hung up.

This is a scam company. They try to sell you a hot water system, but of course it's a scam. What really happens is that they ask for access to your PC or for your credit card details. Either way, you never get a hot water system. Looks like they are exploiting a Voip number from Emerge Internet, so they probably have a block of similar numbers. Just hang up and block.

I got called from 0485 901 067 few times a week, then I blocked , and now the same line call be except being 068 and the end, also 065 . I never pick up, and according to report from here I wouldn’t want to pick up any of these. As they never leave any voice message.

They said they were from NAB. They reported unusual transactions and said they can hold the transactions. I said to the male caller (with an unusual accent), I would like to stop the call and call NAB myself.
They promptly hung up on me. Just to show, they are scammers.

Someone phoned 3 times today using this well-known scam number - no message left.

Text message purporting to be from Linkt asking to pay toll. Site looks almost like the real Linkt site but the About Us link is non functional.

Female wanted to know if I paid the electricity bill and whose name it is in.

Likely scam; after taking call without talking, 3-4 seconds caller hung up. Blocked, deleted.

I’m guessing a scam call based on everyone else’s calls. I struggled to understand his accent although he was very polite. Something about saving $4000 a year with insulation, initially told me it was a NSW government thing for all commercial properties, however I told him I didn’t have a commercial property and he changed it to all residents. Number is not a NSW area code however.

They stalked my Facebook and called my current jobs corporate saying that I need to call them and said that I’d know who they are. All over a $15 closing fee XD

These buggers called me 14 times in one day, changing the last three numbers of their fake caller ID for each new call to try to get around me blocking their number. Blocking the range of numbers for any calls that started with 0285525 stopped them getting through.

Yes..same number just called me. I called it back..Same woman with same recorded message as on previous numbers saying calling on behalf of "My Charity survey". They have called numerous times using different numbers. Keep blocking to no avail it seems.

Scammer claiming to be with the Federal Police Cybercrime section gave this number to call him back.

Scam call, from what reported earlier about this number. Did not pick up, but caller left no voice message.

This is yet another in a line of (02)8552.... numbers suspected of scam - caller rings a couple times and hangs up, no message left. Received many from this range, all with the same pattern.
