Today I received a call from one number (62664734) which I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. I then got a text from 0429 854 689 saying to call Raj on the first number about Daniel. I don't know a Daniel, so I blocked both numbers. This Raj scam seems to still be active.

I rang them back and got try again later recording… I think a scam hoax call so I’m blocking it !!!!

I receive MANY calls, all starting (03) 9109 xxxx. Sometimes there is a voicemail from a robo-voice claiming unpaid accounts - never any identity given as to who they are or any info about the supposed account. They are all scammers. The last 4 digits of the incoming numbers usually change, sometimes the same number will call several times. I NEVER answer them.

This was one of several unsolicited calls I have received in the past two weeks from numbers that are supposedly from Thailand, and one of three I received today. Each time it is a different number, but they were supposedly from Thailand and appear ro have no connection to an existing company. Very likely to be scam calls. The caller knew all of the details of my regular monthly direct debit to a charity, my address, email, etc. This was declined one month for insufficient funds. I have contacted the charity directly fearing this was a scam. They have reassured me that they refer missed direct debits to a business in North Sydney called Mondial and they are legit, not a scam.

Have received 7 calls from this number in 3 days. As I don't know the number not answering it. They never leave a message - starting to border on harassment.

The voice message started off with several noises that sounded like explosions - followed by a constant noise sounding like someone had their nose directly on the speaker…there was one “hello “ amongst that. Towards the end there was distant multiple voices heard.

Same as previous reporter. Robotic call telling me my visa or mastercard has been debited through Amazon / E Bay. I didn't let her/it finish the spiel, I hung up as it is clearly a scam call.

approximately 4 days ago, i received a call from this number trying to get me to send them money for their organisation "help for small monkeys with disabilities", during this call a man with a moderate to low tone of voice informed me about how he had many monkeys in his house under his care and needs money for his non-profit, i inquired about why he has so many monkeys under his posession,...

Said he was from Microsoft. Absolute bunkum.

Said she was Megan from Hudson Lawyers. Wanted me to ID myself by providing date of birth, address, email address and mobile phone number. I asked what it was regarding and she said she was calling on behalf of American Express. I would not disclose any personal information so she said she would have to escalate the issue.

Called on new iPhone number (placed on DNC register) by a woman who said she was looking for a Mr Richard Sampson (totally unknown person). Could not tell me how her outfit had my number or why it was connected to a person not connected to the phone.
Woman apologised and said that they had 'bought the phone number' - surmise that this must have been from OPTUS - the specialists in data-theft...
