I’m guessing a scam call based on everyone else’s calls. I struggled to understand his accent although he was very polite. Something about saving $4000 a year with insulation, initially told me it was a NSW government thing for all commercial properties, however I told him I didn’t have a commercial property and he changed it to all residents. These buggers called me 14 times in one day, changing the last three numbers of their fake caller ID for each new call to try to get around me blocking their number. Blocking the range of numbers for any calls that started with 0285525 stopped them getting through.

Text received today. Same context / detail as other complaints. Probably the most legitimate looking SMS I’ve seen but still a scam. Closed ANZ accounts more than 12 months ago. ANZ don’t text authorisation codes to my knowledge. Deleted and reported to Telstra as scam text.

The phone number (02) 8006 7792 was included as part of an attempted email scam using PayPal. The scam also used the name Amanda Fayette and AUS_DIGITAL_SELLER, which are both reported as used as part scams.

When I answered, a man (with an Indian accent) told me that he was from a group that looked after older peoples' health in the area I lived in and started asking me questions about my health and what sort of exercise routine I had. I replied that I was getting plenty of exercise running to answer my phone because of scammers, then I terminated the call.

Rang after hours from mobile number - could not provide details about energy adviser - prattled on about savings on electricity until told would be reported for calling a number on the DNC Register - they hung up. Scammers.

Called about my solar panels, how many and when they were installed and kept going on about what rebate was I getting. Claimed not trying to sell solar systems, but continued asking questions about the government rebate for them. Hung up when the caller did not get the answers she was after. Real pest.

Watch out for this number. Message claimed it was Dept Home Affairs

This annoying callers keeps calling my mothers mobile and keeps leaving silent messages or background noise need to be stopped otherwise i will blow a big whistle it’s so annoying

Called using my name saying they are trying to get a message to someone who I do not know.

The voice was female, maybe Indian/Sri Lankan, but whatever headset they were using was badly distorted & I couldn't understand a word the lady was saying.

As the number wasn't listed on REverse AU or Reverseaustralia l I phoned back. Automated message said I had called Web Solutions dial ..... etc. Hung up and googled Web Solutions and under "Contact us" was this message: (therefore was a Scam call!)

This bloke's name is Matt. He is a debt collector and a good one at that. We have been playing a grown-up version of tag for about 1 year.

Left me a message to say that I have 'Coles points' expiring soon and that I should log in to redeem as soon as possible. Definite scam.

Robot voice message left saying they're from Auspost and that they've tried to contact me twice for parcel signature but no one was available and to give a call back. There's a chinese recording after that. I was not waiting for any parcel deliver. Hoax :(

'maybe' not a scam, BUT they are cold calling from really old contacts on their database or someone else's investments database. I received a missed call (I didn't answer), a super excited guy left a message about stock market investment opportunities. The message was noisy but think the company was called KOSEC. He left a number for me to call him back on 1300 854 151.

I have had this call twice now. The women asked if she is speaking to me, my name, then goes on to ask whether I remember filling out a form for a holiday at some time? When I say no, she tries to confirm my address. Which I denied.
