I had checked the number after a missed call, as Google marked it as a scam caller, so phone did not ring. On this phone I had the Motorola default call, and it did not block spam and scam callers, so now I have the Google phone as the default one which blocks out the spam and scam callers, some times they get through, but rarely.

I didn't answer the call & he left a voicemail stating the call was relating to my Qantas CC application with a reference number.
I don't know what that reference number related to and the 1300 call back number was not the number that is on the Qantas CC website so I called to number on the website.
I think it was genuine.

Based on everyone saying Credit Solutions and I have seen that name too often in my text messages. It’s scammers. Even when you block them, they still are able to text you. Just ignore and delete. The caller called me and the quality of the sound was poor. It sounded like she was talking to someone in the background and as she attempted to confirm for my details, the call cut out. Most likely a scam.

My son received a call in Mandarin from someone claiming to be from the Chinese Embassy in Sydney. They said a critical issue needs to be discussed and the embassy would call again today. The concerning part is, the caller knew my son's last name.

We looked up the number online and it appears to be the real number for the Chinese visa application center.

I received calls from this number multiple times, always about solar panels. I have requested not to be called again, to no avail. I wish there was a way to block phone numbers on a landline. The Do Not Call Register is not effective at all!
